Q. Why does the metronome stop when I close this app?

A. I'm sorry. The metronome in this app is a function that assists in practicing bending. Therefore, playback in the background is not supported.

Bending Trainer

How to use Bending Trainer.

Choose the key of your harmonica.

Turn on to manual mode.

Select a hole of harmonica.

Draw (or blow) straight note.
And move the gauge to the pitch dot.

You get bending, pitch dot does down.

The blowing/drawing of each hole is as follows.

Bending Trainer

(1). Pitch Dot:
This goes up and down to match the harmonica pitch. When you lower the sound with a bend, it moves down.
Also, it sounds the note when you touch on manual mode, so you can check the pitch.

(2). Gauge of Pitch:
This is a measure of the pitch.

(3). Harmonica Hole Selector:
On auto mode, here is only displays with no button.
There are 10 buttons here on manual-mode.

(4). Settings:
Shows settings.

(5). Metronome:
Shows a simple metronome.

(6). Manual Mode Switch:

(7). Temperament:
The pitch of just intonation is calculated based on the following values.

The pitch of Marine Band Tune(Marine Band compromise temperament) is calculated based on the following values.

Volume when pitch dot is touched.

Overbending Trainer

- This is a trainer for over-blow and over-draw.

(1). Pitch Dot:
This goes up and down to match the harmonica pitch. When you higher the sound with over-blowing(or drawing), it moves up.
Also, it sounds the note when you touch on manual mode, so you can check the pitch.

(2). Gauge of Pitch:
This is a measure of the pitch.

(3). Harmonica Hole Selector:
On auto mode, here is only displays with no button.
There are 10 buttons here on manual-mode.

NOTE: In auto mode, you cannot use 3-hole over-blow and 8-hole over-draw. This is because it conflicts with the range of the other holes.

Half-valved Bending Trainer

- This is a trainer for bendings that are specific to the half-valved diatonic harmonica. The common bendings for diatonic harmonica should be used for the ’Bending’ tab.
