Outline

TN-1B is tuning meter only for a bassist.
It detects the pitch of notes that picked up by a microphone, and it displays the difference from the right pitch.

    Permissions

    RECORD_AUDIO: It is necessary to use the microphone.
    INTERNET: It uses to show webview.
    AD_ID: It uses to show ads.

    Arrows Z in (ISW13F) FUJITSU, proximity sensor does not work properly has been reported.
    In menu [Manual Mode Setting], turn off the checkbox "Proximity sensor works" please.

How to use TN-1B.

FAQ

Q. The pitch meter is jerky. I cannot tune my bass well.

A. Please try to Manual-Mode. And twang harmonics(flageolet tones) on 12th-fret. May result in a smooth movement.

Q. I cannot put a check in the checkbox of `Proximity sensor works`.

A. This feature is disabled on devices that do not have a proximity sensor.

How to tune your bass.

1. First, please check the settings of TN-1B.

Look at info-window in the center of the screen.
Standard Pitch: Can you see `A440`?
Tuning set: Can you see `Standard`?

2. Turn to Manual-Mode.

3. Tap the button on the far left. Then selected E-string.

4. Please pick the E-string(thickest string) of your bass.

Take care not to sound other strings.


5. Look at the meter.

The sound of your bass is too low against target pitch. Wind the tuning peg up slowly that until the needle points to zero.

The sound of your bass is too high against target pitch. Loosen the tuning peg to that the needle is to come to the left of zero once back, and wind the tuning peg up slowly that until the needle points to zero.

The sound of your bass is high against target pitch. Loosen the tuning peg to that the needle is to come to the left of zero once back, and wind the tuning peg up slowly that until the needle points to zero.

Note.
When the sound of the bass is higher than the target pitch (or gone to the right side over zero), loosen the strings once. You make the needle that matches to zero by while winding up. By doing so, the string does not loose easily, and the pitch will stable.

Since the needle is pointing to zero, the pitch is in tune with the target.

IMPORTANT.
Octave higher from target pitch, and in pitch of octave lower, the needle points zero. From this, TN-1B displaying `too high`, and pitch of your bass is further increased, the meter will be displayed as `too low`.
For this reason, you wind up the string, is very dangerous that break a string, even if meter displayed as `too low`. If you're a bass beginner, then it is necessary that people who can well to tuning your bass. Please use TN-1B only to fine-tune.


6. In the same way, tune to G-string from A-string.


7. After tuning up to G-string, back to the E-string, Please check up to G-string.

In all strings, the meter needle to the point to zero, please repeat tuning. Depending on the strength of the neck of your bass, or the gauge of the string set, you may need to be repeated many times.


8. In all strings, the meter needle points to zero. Tuning is complete.

Bass is a musical instrument that will be off pitch eased. You need to tune always before you play.

Main Controls

Target pitch is the point of zero.
Please turn the tuning peg such that the needle points "0".

(2). Information of Note:
Displays tuning set name and frequency of target note.

(3). String Button:
From left, E, A, D, G-string.
On Auto mode, these buttons become an indicator of detecting string.

You cannot use harmonics on 12th-fret.

(5). Tuning Fork:
It sounds when you tap. The sound will stop when you tap again.

(7). Cent Gauge:
It indicates the pitch in cents. One scale mark will correspond to 1 cent.
Once you buy `Premium Upgrade`, you can use this feature.

Manual Mode Setting Setting

(1). Proximity Sensor Works:
On Manual-mode, switch target string by press string-button.
If you check this checkbox, it is possible to select right side button by moving your hand closer to the device.

This feature is used proximity sensor. In many cases, the proximity sensor is located near the earpiece. Close your finger to the earpiece, this feature works.
